Executive Vice President of Finance, Risk & Investments and Chief of Staff to AIG Chairman & CEO Peter Zaffino

Jennifer Silane joined AIG in 2021 and is Executive Vice President of Finance, Risk & Investments and Chief of Staff to AIG Chairman & CEO Peter Zaffino.

In her role, she drives and coordinates strategic business priorities and transformation programs and provides management direction to core enterprise initiatives focused on value creation for all of AIG’s internal and external stakeholders. She also helped to launch the AIG Women’s Leadership Forum at the 2023 AIG Women’s Open.

Prior to AIG, Ms. Silane worked at American Express for 15 years in several senior executive roles, including Head of Global Commercial Business Planning and leading several Global Lending and Card portfolios, where she was responsible for business planning and strategy development across the global business. She was also Vice President and Head of Marketing at Gabelli Asset Management Company.  

Ms. Silane holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
