Strengthening communities through volunteerism

AIG provides opportunities for employees to use their time and expertise to uplift communities around the world through several initiatives, including its Volunteer Time Off program, which allows AIG colleagues to take up to 16 hours off per calendar year beyond their traditional paid time off to volunteer with nonprofit organizations, including schools.

AIG hosts Global Volunteer Month each April. In 2021, over 1,700 colleagues volunteered virtually for more than 5,000 hours on over 90 projects across 25 countries.

On November 30, 2021, more than 650 AIG colleagues and their families from seven countries joined the global giving movement by volunteering, donating, and ultimately, being allies to those in need.
