AIG – GB Partnership

  • AIG has entered into a strategic partnership with Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. for the management of our “bundled” workers compensation claims in the U.S.  This involves our primary guaranteed cost claims, and deductible claims handled by AIG Claims through Sept. 30, 2022. 
  • AIG is leveraging Gallagher Bassett’s system for the AIG in house claims experts in the Major Case Unit (MCU) to manage the high severity Workers’ Compensation, Defense Base Act and U.S. Longshore and Harbor claims.

For Injured Employees

  • If it’s an emergency, call 911 immediately. As soon as it is safe to do so, report the injury to your supervisor or human resources personnel.
  • Seek medical treatment at the nearest occupational health clinic. For a list of providers, visit https://www.aig.com/intellirisk. 
  • To search for a provider:
    • Click on "Find Medical Care" and then the link "Find nearby medical care."
    • Do a radius search, and under the Provider Types, select ‘‘First Treatment Providers.’’
    • To narrow your search, choose "Occupational/Industrial Medicine." Your supervisor or human resources personnel will give you an myMatrixx Pharmacy First Fill document if you are given a prescription for your work-related injury.
  • Let your supervisor or human resources personnel know when you’ve received treatment and the results of the visit.


For Employers

  • Report the injury immediately to AIG by closing the “Steps for Reporting an Injury” information and using the “First Notice of Loss” instructions for the type of claim you need to report (Workers’ Compensation, USL&H, or Defense Based Act).
  • Direct employee to the nearest occupational clinic and provide them with an myMatrixx Pharmacy First Fill document. For a list of providers, visit https://www.aig.com/intellirisk. Refer to the search instructions under the Injured Employee section.

Report a Claim by LS-202

Effective December 1, 2010, USL&H claims can no longer be reported by phone and must be reported using Form LS-202 (Employers First Report of Injury). The completed form should be uploaded via SEAPortal or mailed to the Department of Labor at the following address:

Medical Card

Create a Medical Card that an injured worker can take to their provider for information on how to access AIG medical approval, schedule services, or submit medical bills.

Injured Workers or Providers – please click here and select “Medical Card” in the upper right area of the screen. Enter the benefit state (all other info is optional) and click “Create Medical Card.”
