The AIG Global Ambassador highlights AIG’s contributions to elevating the Championship.
AIG Global Ambassador Georgia Hall reflects on the transformation she has seen in the AIG Women’s Open since AIG became title sponsor in 2019.
She highlights the higher-caliber venues, enhanced player amenities and the growing prize fund as AIG’s contributions to elevating the sport. Georgia also talks about creating opportunities for more women to enter the sport, with participants in the AIG Women’s Golf Academy sharing the benefits they gain from playing.
From July 30 – August 2, the world's top female athletes will compete at the 2026 AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England. As AIG enters its eighth year as title sponsor and the Championship celebrates its 50th year, we are committed to continuing to invest in the women’s game in partnership with The R&A.
Georgia, who began playing golf at the age of 7, also reflects on her special connection to this year's venue. Royal Lytham & St Annes is where she captured her first major title in 2018, making her return to the historic course especially meaningful as she once again competes on one of golf's biggest stages and as she recently became a first-time mom.
Watch the video above to hear Georgia's perspective on her golf career and what the AIG Women's Open means to her.
