Here’s what’s happening…in the Midwest Region:
This year marks the 10th anniversary of our strategic partnership with collector car auction house Barrett-Jackson. The Barrett-Jackson Endorsed Insurance Program, which is serviced primarily in our Midwest Region, is PCG’s longest-running strategic program. Click here to view a brief video about it.
Barrett-Jackson’s premier auction in Scottsdale, AZ resulted in over $116 million in vintage car sales earlier this year. With partner broker Jim Schwarzkopf of BridgePoint Risk Management, our AIG team including Matt Boschi, Regional Marketing Manager; Ron Fiamma, Global Director of Private Collections; Dorinda Joseph, Senior Business Development Manager; Andrew Schmer, Underwriting Specialist; Julie Wahlborg, Regional Underwriting Manager; and Chrissy Yackanin, Account Analyst, attended the event. It ended up being our best ever in terms of new business production and leads generated.
The team will also attend the Palm Beach, Mohegan Sun and Las Vegas auctions to round out the partnership in 2018.
Even through April, snow was still flying in the Midwest. Prolonged winters can make it challenging to stay connected with brokers, so the Midwest Region relies on monthly webinars to keep the lines of communication open and engage brokers. Headed up by Dorinda Joseph (also featured above) and Kim Styx, Business Development Manager, the team has hosted five events thus far in 2018: Private Client Select, water detection, CIP tips & tricks, yacht and cyber.
The webinars have served as an efficient and effective way of reaching brokers when office visits are less feasible due to winter conditions. In addition, varying topics allows brokers to have direct access to a range of subject matter experts who they otherwise might not have the opportunity to meet.
