Barbara, our Central Zone Art Collection Management Director, is an adjunct faculty member with John Hopkins University’s Museum Studies program (she earned her master’s degree in museum studies there in 2015). Barbara developed a course entitled Private Collections and Museums: The New Frontier and just completed teaching it in April.
Danna, our Western Zone Art Collection Management Director, recently earned the Graduate Gemologist designation from the Gemological Institute of America—one of the most prestigious credentials in the jewelry industry. Danna had been working toward this achievement since 2012, taking online courses and completing on-campus labs on top of her work schedule. The Graduate Gemologist diploma brings added expertise to situations involving gems and jewelry, whether assisting with a claim, providing loss prevention or risk management advice, or working with third-party vendors and appraisers.
Allison, Senior Business Development Manager in our Eastern Zone, won the “Company Representative of the Year” award from the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut. It was presented to her at the organization’s recent annual convention.
