For the fourth consecutive year, DiversityInc has named AIG a Noteworthy Company for diversity. The diversity of AIG’s talent, our emphasis on fair talent development, and our leadership’s commitment to inclusion stood out in the prominent diversity publication’s analysis of over 1,000 employers.

“We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and of being recognized for the fourth consecutive year by DiversityInc,” says Claudine Macartney, AIG’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Our employees foster a spirit of inclusion each and every day, and I applaud their continued efforts to make AIG a leader in diversity.”

DiversityInc’s annual survey, which began in 2001, is a rigorous, data-driven analysis of corporate diversity, measuring detailed demographics on race/ethnicity and gender and assessing the strength of companies’ inclusion initiatives. AIG was evaluated on its responses to a 300-question survey covering four priority areas for action:

·         Diversity of talent - workforce breakdown, recruitment initiatives

·         Equitable talent development - employee resource groups, mentoring, fairness, mobility, philanthropy

·         CEO’s and leadership’s responsibility for inclusion - accountability for results, communications, visibility

·         Supplier diversity - partnerships with businesses owned by members of under-represented groups
