Whether you're abroad or just cruising the internet, we're there when you need help. TravelSafe ID membership is designed to both provide you with assistance when traveling internationally and protect you from identity theft. Perfect for business and leisure travel.


The program gives you a 24/7/365 safety net from a provider your can trust. For the length of your membership period, international travelers with medical, legal or travel emergencies can tell the number on their membership card and a trained coordinator will help, in-language, 24 hours per day. The membership also provides expert assistance and financial relief if you are a victim of identity theft. Protect yourself -- wherever you travel.
 

General AIG Travel Safe ID Services

The AIG Travel Safe ID program provides access to information and referral services for members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. By calling the AIG International Services Worldwide customer care center, members have access to all of the following services at no additional charge:

Travel Documentation: Assistance procuring travel documents, passport/visa requirements and customs entry/exit restrictions and regulations.

Immunizations: Advice on required immunizations for travel, information on local medical advisories, epidemics and available preventive measures.

Political/Environmental Warning: Information on U.S. government offices abroad, and foreign government offices in the U.S. and how to reach them; access to the latest updates on international conditions as they relate to political and/or environmental situations.

Currency and ATM Locations: Currency exchange rates are available, as well as information on local bank/government holidays.

Global Weather Updates: Worldwide climate and up-to-date weather forecasting for domestic and international destinations.

Emergency Messages: Emergency messages to/from travelers stored and relayed internationally at the member's request for up to 72 hours.

Physician/Dentist/Hospital Referral: Contact information for local physicians, dentists, and/or hospital and clinics is provided to members upon request. Translation assistance and coordination with the traveler's primary medical insurance are available.

Telephone Translations: Multilingual counselors available via telephone, around the clock.
