LifeLine Plus

Overview:  Lifeline Plus Group Personal Accident and/or Travel insurance enabling employers to provide a variety of wide covers for their employees. Includes leisure travel cover for directors, their partners and children, Crisis Containment Management and Healthline Plus (a Second Medical Opinion service and online Health Portal that can be accessed by anyone insured under the policy as well as their families, whether or not a claim is made).

Who is it for?:Any UK based business with two or more employees.

Why Lifeline Plus cover is important: 6m working days are estimated to be lost annually because of accidents1, costing up to £1bn in lost wages2. (1 HSE Health & Safety Statistics 2007/08; 2 HSE Economic Advisers unit June 2004)

Maintaining a firm’s momentum is likely to be easier with 24/7 worldwide Personal Accident cover, which includes ‘get you back to work’ benefits like health case management, a to/from work chauffeur service, physiotherapy sessions and re-training costs, in addition to the core injury cash benefits, which can enable an employer to look after their employees financially or cater for the financial impact of losing a key employee.

The Travel insurance can meet the costs of emergency medical expense overseas, urgent medical repatriation, a cancelled or curtailed trip, or simply lost baggage or money. It can also help recover potentially lost business opportunities by paying for an alternative person to continue a trip.

Easy-to-arrange and use cover: Cover does not exclude pre-existing medical conditions (as long as a person is not travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner) or pregnancy. Nor are there any excesses. Limited detail is required to effect cover and user-friendly websites or emergency numbers helpfully guide employees should the need arise.

Simple genius. Put simply, Lifeline Plus works.
