Travel Documentation: Get advice by phone on passport/visa requirements, customs entry/exit restrictions and regulations. Learn where you can obtain necessary travel documents.

Immunizations: Get advice on required immunizations for intended destinations or points of transit. You can access up-to-date information on local medical advisories, epidemics and available preventive measures.

Political/Environmental Warnings: Keep abreast of international political and environmental conditions. Get access to US Government Offices abroad as well as Foreign Government Offices in the US. AIG can deliver messages to these offices via fax, electronically or by telephone.

Currency and ATM Locations: Get up-to-date currency exchange rates. Find nearby ATM locations worldwide, along with information on their associated financial networks.

Global Weather: Learn about general climate conditions plus up-to-date weather reports for any domestic or international destination.

Emergency Message: Emergency messages can be stored and relayed to or from members via fax, phone or electronically.

Telephone Translation: In emergency situations, multilingual counselors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for translations via telephone.

Security Services: Get area security assessments, and worldwide access to bodyguards, armed escort and driver services.

Lost/Stolen Luggage and Personal Effects: AIG can provide members with personal telephone assistance for interfacing with local authorities and agencies. In the event of a loss, AIG will coordinate the claims process, delivery by the common carrier and shipment of replacement articles.

Lost/Stolen Travel Documents/Tickets: In the event of lost or stolen travel documents (passport, major credit cards, etc.), members can receive help with canceling original documents and obtaining replacements - plus, AIG can book alternate reservations and arrange for replacement airline/rail tickets.

Cash Transfer: Emergency cash is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through in-house resources (subject to provision of a personal funding source).

Vehicle Return: AIG can arrange for the return of rental vehicles in the event a traveler is unable to continue driving due to illness, accident, etc. Uninsured fees incurred as part of this service will be collected from the member.

Legal Referral: In a travel emergency, members can receive referrals to local attorneys anywhere in the world.

Trip Interruption: In the event of a travel interruptions en-route resulting from an emergency, AIG can help with arranging and prepaying overnight hotel accommodations, alternate transportation and meals. Services are subject to provision of a personal source of funds and local restrictions.

Medical Evacuation: In the event of an emergency, AIG's in-house medical staff is there to make a full evaluation. If a medical condition cannot be treated in a local facility, all necessary arrangements will be made to evacuate the patient. Once stabilized and/or treated, arrangements are made to bring the member home. Membership benefits also include return fares for the member's family as well as transportation for a designated companion should the member face traveling alone when the illness or accident occurs. Reasonable expenses up to $100,000 are included.

Physician/Dentist/Hospital Referral: Contact information for local physicians, dentists, and/or hospital/clinics is provided to members upon request. Appointment scheduling with translation assistance in addition to coordination with the travelers' primary medical insurance carrier, is available.

Medical Case Monitoring: AIG's medical staff will monitor a member's condition while hospitalized away from home. This includes telephone consultations with on-site physicians or the home physician, evaluation of medical data as well as communication with the member's family. AIG's medical staff will determine if proposed treatment conforms to Western standards and makes recommendations on alternate methods or locations.

Shipment of Medical Records and Prescription Medications: Arrangements will be made to have a member's medical records shipped to the treating physician if required during a medical emergency or following treatment away from home. When allowed by local law, shipment of prescription medication will also be coordinated if medications cannot be obtained locally.

Insurance/Claims Coordination: In the event of a medical emergency, AIG will handle claims as well as issues between a member's insurance carrier and the medical services provider.

Repatriation of Remains: In the event of death while traveling away from home, AIG International Services will make all necessary arrangements for the return of a member's mortal remains, including compliance with local government regulations. Reasonable expenses up to $20,000 for embalming, cremation, coffins, transportation and other services are included.
