Interview Back To Top
You may be invited to meet with us once your application has been received and matched against opportunities for the best possible fit.

On Interview Day
To ensure our assessments are as fair as possible during the interview, we employ a wide range of interviewing methods including behavioral interviews, case interviews, and work simulations. The type, number of interviews and interviewers, length, and complexity of questions will vary depending on the specific position for which you are being considered. In many cases, your potential colleagues will be among those conducting interviews.

Our Interview Style
Our interviews create the opportunity to share detailed information about performance in previous work-related situations. You will be asked to share examples or specific situations that you’ve encountered and dealt with in the past. In addition, you will be asked about your interests while giving ample opportunity to inquire about our organization and career opportunities.

Case Interviews
For some jobs the best way to assess your problem-solving skills is to discuss a possible business situation with you. Case interviews are purposefully broad in order to create a two-way discussion rather than one-way test. You may be assessed more on how you go through the process of dealing with the problem rather than on the final solution.

Interview Tips:
    - Show interest by preparing for the interview—research the company/ industry, prepare a list of questions, and know your skills, talents, and accomplishments.
    - Practice. Have a friend conduct a mock interview with you. It will help you structure your responses.
    - Ask questions. Remember, an interview is a two-way conversation and should be treated as an opportunity for you to get to know us, as well as for us to get to know you.
Once you have successfully completed the hiring process and you decide AIG is the place for you, we’ll officially welcome you to the AIG community. All new employees attend an on-boarding session designed to educate employees about our history, the structure of the organization, and our corporate culture. Individual departments may also conduct sessions with material specific to the work they do and may assign mentors or colleagues to ensure the new employee transitions easily to AIG. Finally, each employee is assigned a Human Resources representative to assist with benefits selection and paperwork.

We value your career from the first day and we will try to make you feel comfortable, knowledgeable, and provided with the tools you need to be successful. The only piece missing is you.
