AIG Auto Insurance Policyholders

• If you have an automobile insurance issued by an AIG company other than AIG Hungary and are involved in a car accident while in Hungary, please contact our Budapest office at the number above.
• If you need to extend or modify your car insurance policy, you will have to contact the branch that issued your policy. Branch phone numbers are usually listed on the policy itself.

In order to settle your claim quickly and efficiently, please be sure you have the following information:
• The address and phone number(s) where we can reach you to schedule an assessment of your car
• The car insurance policy issued by AIG
• Your car’s registration documents
• The driver’s license of the person who drove your car
• The police report about the cause and circumstances of the accident
• The names, addresses and phone numbers of the other people involved in the accident, as well their license plate number of their car, their insurer’s name and policy number
• A written declaration of the person at fault for the accident acknowledging their liability
• The names, addresses and phone numbers of any witnesses
