Franchised Auto, Truck and RV Dealer Insurance Program

Program Target:

  • Target Risks:
    • Franchised Auto, Truck and RV dealers
  • Ineligible Risks:
    • Used car dealers are not eligible for this program unless this business activity is part of a new auto dealership
    • Motorcycle, Boat and ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) and emergency vehicle dealers are not eligible for this program
  • Geographic:
    • Nationwide except CT, MA, NJ, and downstate NY (south of Route 84). Territory limitations in FL and LA, please call to discuss prior to submitting business.

Coverages and Limits Available:

  • Garage Liability
  • Broadened Garage Liability including Advertisers and Personal Injury, Products Extension, Fire Legal, Host Liquor, Limited World Wide, Fellow Employee, Employee Benefits Liability
  • Enhanced Property
  • Employee Theft and Crime Coverages
  • Umbrella Liability limits up to $25 Million available
  • Dealers Open Lot - not provided through the program 
  • Pollution and Underground Storage Tank - not provided through the program 
  • Corporate Identity Theft
  • Workers' Compensation (through another carrier)

Submission Requirements:

  • Completed ACORD forms
  • Completed program administrator application
  • Currently valued loss runs (current plus 3 years prior)
  • The program is also able to provide quotes for optional coverages, a completed the appropriate supplemental application is required for:
    • Dealers Open Lot Auto Physical Damage
    • Garage Exposure Employee Information
    • Corporate Identity Theft
    • Employment Practices Liability
    • Pollution Liability

Broker Requirements:
Current Appointment with the program administrator or, if not, complete the following items:

  • Broker Agreement
  • IRS W-9
  • Copy of E and O Certificate or Declaration Page
  • Copy of the agency’s license per location
  • Agency Profile Document
  • If multiple locations, include a list and confirm ALL locations are covered under the operation’s Errors and Omissions policy
