- To be considered for an appointment with AIG Personal Lines, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a licensed agent/agency in good standing with the Department of Insurance in all of the states where you plan to write business.
- Have an active agency Errors & Omissions (E&O) policy with minimum aggregate limits of $1 million.
- Pass AIG's criminal background investigation.
- Have the ability to meet the new business production requirements set forth by the local AIG office.
If you meet these requirements, click on the link below to begin completing our application. It should take about 20 minutes to complete. You will need your E&O policy and your agency production reports from your three largest personal lines carriers. Individual state and/or territory requirements may differ. Save the application as a draft so that you can upload the required documents before you submit your application.
