Following is a summary of some of the main features and terms of this policy. For full details, please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement or speak to your adviser.
1. Term Life Plan
The Term Life Plan provides you with:
• a lump sum benefit upon death or diagnosis of the life insured with a terminal illness; or
• a Guaranteed Premium Refund at the end of the nominated plan term
You have a choice of plan term (10, 15 or 20 years) and a choice
of premium term (standard or accelerated).
Guaranteed Premium Refund
AIG Life will pay a lump sum, equal to 100% of the Total Premium Paid, at the benefit expiry date, provided:
• Premiums are paid in full when due; and
• No Terminal Illness or Death Benefit has been paid.
If you cancel, convert or terminate your plan prior to the benefit expiry date, you will not receive a premium refund.
2. Crisis Plan
The Crisis Plan provides you with:
• a lump sum benefit if the life insured is diagnosed with one of 36 Crisis (medical) Events, a terminal illness, or upon death; or
• a Guaranteed Premium Refund at the end of the nominated plan term.
You have a choice of plan term (10, 15 or 20 years) and premium term (standard or accelerated).
Guaranteed Premium Refund:
AIG Life will pay a lump sum, equal to 100% of the Total Premium Paid, at the benefit expiry date, provided:
• Premiums are paid when due;
• The full Crisis benefit has not been paid; and
• No Terminal Illness or Death benefit has been paid.
If you cancel, convert or terminate your plan prior to the benefit expiry date, you will not receive a premium refund.
