AIG has entered into an agreement with Qatar Airways to offer Travel Guard insurance to all customers booking flights and holidays with the airline from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Qatar Airways customers across the GCC region can now benefit from AIG's value-added Travel Guard® insurance for f their business and leisure travel. Travel Guard offers three levels of insurance coverage and is designed to complement the needs of the customer, which can include the highest levels of medical expense coverage, trip interruption, travel delays, lost baggage, emergency travel services, and more.
The AIG protection cover is integrated into Qatar Airways' website, with customers offered personalized insurance at the click of a button when booking online.
Later this year, the Travel Guard offer will be extended to Qatar Airways passengers from Europe, the United States, India, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and parts of Africa. Travel Guard provides 24-hour assistance and a broad array of travel coverages to customers in more than 100 countries across the globe.
