This year, AIG received a CIO 100 award for shifting to efficient cloud-based digital models. The CIO 100 is an annual awards event that honors 100 companies using IT in innovative ways to drive business value.  This is the second consecutive year that AIG has won a CIO 100 award.

AIG’s technological enhancements can help us deliver products to market faster due to reductions in development time. Within our company, AIG’s shift to cloud-based technology has also helped significantly reduce incident tickets for infrastructure, including user computing, servers, storage and networks. We’ve also been able to more efficiently leverage our tech talent to help resolve challenges.

AIG has integrated cutting-edge technology, such as automation and machine learning, into our digital infrastructure with far-reaching impact across the company and for our clients.

Martha Gallo, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at AIG, commented on the CIO 100 award win, “It is a testimony to the collaboration and partnerships across teams and with our business partners.”
