It was a trifecta for AIG Travel this year at the Travvy Awards in New York City. James Page, Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer, received a Gold Travvy Award for Most Innovative Travel Executive for his leadership in growing AIG Travel’s assistance operations from one location in 1989 to eight global service centers that offer AIG customers a seamless service experience. (This is the second consecutive year that an AIG Travel executive has won this award – Ellison Scudder was the winner in this category last year for AIG Travel’s patented C3 technology platform).

Eric Powers, Director of Integration, Sales Operations, won a Gold Travvy Award for Rising Star in Travel Insurance, and AIG Travel won a Silver Travvy Award for Best Travel Insurance Provider.

Travvy Award recipients are selected based on voting by more than 39,000 travel agents, who cast their ballots for the best of the best within the travel industry.

“It is an honor to be recognized by members of the travel agent community, because they have deep insight into travel products, services and companies,” said Jeff Rutledge, CEO, AIG Travel. “These Travvy Awards reflect our commitment to providing travelers the protection, assistance, and assurance they need, wherever they may travel.”
