For the fifth straight year, AIG has achieved a 100% ranking on the Corporate Equality Index’s (CEI) “Best Places to Work” report. The Corporate Equality Index recognizes companies that are committed to fairness and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Americans. Companies rated 100% are recognized in the organization's "Best Places to Work" list and are also included in the "Buying for Workplace Equality" guide.

As stated by the Human Rights Campaign, the policies, benefits, and practices businesses must implement to earn a perfect score are best-in-class demonstrations of corporate commitments to LGBT workers.

Says Chiara Engstrom, Chief of Staff, Treasury, and co-lead of the New York LGBT ERG, “I’m proud that AIG has been able to meet the ever-increasing standards for a perfect Human Rights Campaign score year after year. I want my colleagues around the globe to feel valued for their work and for who they are. Participating in the CEI is a great way to make sure we are meeting the mark when it comes to our programs, benefits, and inclusive environment.”
