For the ninth consecutive year, AIG has received an Annuity Service Award from DALBAR, the leading independent evaluator of business practices and services in the financial sector. In the 2015 awards, DALBAR recognized AIG Variable Annuities as a leader in customer service in the annuities industry.

In selecting the winners of the 2015 Annuity Service Award, DALBAR used thousands of tests to evaluate how annuities firms responded to customers’ needs throughout the year. During this comprehensive evaluation process, the people of AIG Variable Annuities demonstrated their leadership in customer service by:

·         Treating each caller with respect and care during all interactions

·         Intuitively recognizing when customers needed help understanding annuities, and stepping in to explain annuities to these customers in easily understandable ways

·         Consistently providing superior service
