AIG Consumer Insurance received the most awards of any organization in the 2016 Insurance and Financial Communications Awards (IFCA). AIG Life & Retirement’s written, visual, and video communications earned nine Best of Show Awards, more than any other team in the competition, and won numerous 2016 Awards of Excellence as well. The annual IFCA competition honors insurance and financial services companies who achieve industry breakthroughs in communications.
AIG Life & Retirement’s 2016 award-winning communications included infographics on how to communicate with millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers about retirement planning, a social media playbook for financial professionals, and an animated video that brings the benefits of an immediate annuity to life.
In the IFCA, judging teams made up of communications professionals from the insurance and financial services industry selected AIG’s communications for awards due to their high-quality concepts, strong writing and execution of design, integration of words and visuals, and overall effectiveness.
