AIG China finished 2015 on a high note by receiving awards for its Travel and Marine businesses, along with recognition for customer service, brand, and human resources. The common award themes were innovation, business transformation, and outstanding customer service.

Citing AIG’s innovation, responsiveness, outstanding service, and a commitment to customer excellence, Money Weekly awarded AIG Travel the “2015 Global Travel Insurance Innovation Service Award” for its Travel Guard product. With AIG being the first foreign insurance company to build a Marine Operations Center in China, Money Weekly also presented AIG the “2015 China Leading Origination of Marine Insurance Award” for the recently opened Shanghai center.

In its 2015 Finance Industry Annual Appraisal Program, China’s Southern Metropolis Daily named AIG a winner in their Annual Brand Awards for having a strong competitive edge, innovative thinking, a unique brand position, and significant brand penetration. This is the third time this publication has recognized AIG China for its strong brand presence in the market.
In November, AIG China’s U+ Service Program was recognized by China Insurance News and received a “2015 China Insurance Monthly Innovation Service Award” in recognition of AIG China’s continued efforts to further enhance customer service.

AIG was also the only foreign insurer to be recognized by Shenzhen Special Zone Daily in the latest 2015 Shenzhen Financial Awards. AIG China Shenzhen Branch was recognized for a Special Zone Daily “Best Quality Service of the Year” award for the “3F” ("Fast, Fair, Friendly") claims service concept, its loss prevention consultancy, and its Travel Guard assistance service.

Finally, China’s HR Team won the “2015 China STAFF Awards-Best HRBP Team” at the 18th China STAFF Awards Ceremony sponsored by CCH China, an independent law, tax, accounting, and HR consultancy. AIG China’s HR team was recognized for its work on business strategy transformation, organizational change, and enterprise culture transformation.
