  • What are the different Premium payment options?
  • To make premium payments, you can select either direct bill or automatic bank draft.  You can select a mode of payment: annual mode (billed once per year), semiannual mode (billed twice per year), quarterly mode (billed four times per year) or monthly mode (billed twelve times per year). 
  • Automatic Bank Draft
  • Your payment will be withdrawn from your designated savings or checking account, based on the mode and withdrawal day you selected. Automatic Bank Draft also known as ABC, is a safe and convenient method of paying your premiums from your checking or savings account. 

    On many policies, premiums are less using this payment method.  Deductions can be made monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually on the day you choose.  You never have to write another check or worry about a late payment.

  • Can I make a payment by phone?
    • Yes, we take one-time payments by phone through a checking account. Contact 1-800-888-2452.
  • Can I request a duplicate bill?
    • Yes, please call Customer Service at 1-800-888-2452, Monday through Friday 7am-6pm Central Time or:

  • How do I change my mode of payment?

  • How long is my grace period?
    • For a Universal Life policy there is a 61 day grace period.  If the amount required to keep your policy in force is not paid by the end of the grace period, your policy will terminate without value.
    • For a Traditional Life policy the grace period is 30-60 days.  Please review your contract language or call Customer Service at

  • How do I replace a lost Policy?
    • A policy copy may be requested by completing the Lost Policy Application Form

  • How can I apply for a loan on my life policy?

  • How do I assign my policy to another individual or entity?
    • A policy can be assigned by completing the Absolute Assignment, AGLA5051.

  • Can I purchase Insurance online?

  • How do I reinstate a lapsed policy?
  • A lapsed policy can only be reinstated during a designated period of time, depending on the policy provision.  Payment of past due premiums is required.  The insured may also be required to complete a reinstatement application to provide evidence of insurability.  
    Please call Customer Service at 1-800-888-2452 with any questions you may have regarding whether evidence of insurability will be required and the payment amount needed to reinstate.
  • Can I get a duplicate copy of a Universal Life, Annuity or Master Life Annual Statement?
