Until now, companies have had to make separate benefit arrangements for each European country in which they operate.

The creation of OneStepSM means clients can now set up a single policy providing group life term assurance in each country. Also, reporting time of scheme management information is now greatly reduced.

The policy is administered by a dedicated account contact in Dublin, Ireland. This means clients also benefit from a single point of service for all their group life term assurance throughout Europe. It is ideal both for companies already operating across Europe and for those preparing to take their first step.

OneStepSM is a truly coordinated employee benefits solution for Europe, and can be provided on a stand-alone basis or as part of a captive arrangement or pooling solution.

It's flexible, permitting movement of a clients' employees and their employee benefits within the stated countries free of underwriting. OneStepSM provides group life term assurance that can cover employees and, where requested, their partners across 15 European countries* - with more European territories expected to come. Cover can be provided to replicate the local benefit structure in each country. For example:

- A multiple of basic monthly/annual earnings
- A percentage of annual salary
- A predetermined lump sum
- A factor of family or employee status


A limited number of individuals outside Europe (e.g., Expatriates, Third Country Nationals) can also be covered, up to certain limits.

The strength of OneStepSM means we offer core language capabilities in 5 European languages: English, German, Italian, French and Spanish. This gives policyholders the ease of doing business in their preferred language.

Automatic coverage transfer for maximum flexibility

If an employee moves from one insured subsidiary to another there is no need for additional underwriting. Upon notification we will automatically amend the scheme records to reflect the change.

With OneStepSM you can choose a premium payment frequency that best suits your business, whether it's monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.

The policyholder can also choose from six separate currencies: Euro, US Dollar, Danish Krone, GB Pound , Norwegian Krone or Swedish Krona.

Our claims team will then assess the claim, ensuring all specific local requirements are fulfilled.

Payment is made by electronic transfer in the currency of coverage, as selected under the plan.
